“Two constants in my life are the love of learning and painting. I love to learn new art skills and business techniques through workshops and classes (online and in person) and from other artists. This openness to learning insures that my work is fresh and constantly evolving.”

Roxanne was born and raised in rural Arizona.  She grew up in a state full of sunshine, amazing colors, warmth (ok, hot!), many diverse cultures and people.  Roxanne grew up traveling around Arizona and thus she was bitten by the travel bug!  She is always ready for an adventure!  She’s a seasoned traveler having gone to Greece multiple times and Rv’d through the Western United States. Her trusty IPhone is always in her hand, to take dozens (even hundreds) of photos to use in her paintings. 

Art has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, but she didn’t get serious about it until later in her life.  By chance, Roxanne took an oil painting class and fell head over heels in love with oils!  She signed up for every painting class that was offered in her area. Roxanne graduated from an intense Mastery program through the Milan Art Institute.  She has been building her art business, sharing her knowledge, and painting, painting, painting!

She is currently an online coach and mentor for the Milan Art Institute, where she shares her love of painting and learning.  She has been juried into the Arizona Fine Art Expo in Scottsdale, Arizona, five years in a row.  The past two years, she has been juried into the Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival.
